Architecture Classes for Kids in Lisbon

Architecture classes for kids aged 7–11 at CCB Lisbon. Learn with practising architects and create real architectural projects and models.

Discover architecture through creativity, experimentation and hands-on projects!

The Architectural Thinking School invites children aged 6–11 to join our English-speaking architecture course at Centro Cultural de Belém (CCB).

This trimester’s theme is “Microhome”. Children will explore how architects create comfortable and functional spaces when both space and resources are limited.

Students will learn about human proportions and scale, take measurements, create architectural drawings, explore traditional architecture from different cultures and discover contemporary microhomes. Step by step, they will develop their own architectural project and build a physical model.

Classes are taught in English by practising architects and combine short theory sessions with plenty of creative, hands-on work.
